quilts

In both our families, we have accumulated at least 4 quilts. One from my JoJo's grandma made from chicken sacks, one from Edwin's great uncle Luther, one from Edwin's great aunt Marilyn, and one from our church when we got married. We also have another quilt on it's way from Edwin's Great Uncle Luther as our wedding gift. Each one is hand made and very special to us. We have had them stored in the closet on the top rack and never really put them on display. But now, we found a quilt rack in the barn at JoJo's, cleaned it up and put it all on display! :)



This weekend, we went to visit Edwin's parents in Saint Matthews. Edwin was helping his dad do a few things around the house, but much to our surprise, they also gave us a beautiful quilt rack. I have already plotted the perfect spot for it along with the new black and white quilt we are getting for getting married. Hopefully, I will be able to post pictures of these new things as soon as we get them all! Thanks Papa Rick and Mrs. Cindy!!!!! :)
